Outsourcing bedcover production
The Norwegian Ekornes is one of the largest furniture brands in the Nordics and owner of the well known bed-brand Svane ®.
The production takes place in the beautiful area Fetsund 30 km outside Oslo.
The bed business is very seasonal, and in 2012 Svane decided to outsource the cut/sew operation. LTP was chosen as a partner for this, and we created a production site for the bedcover production. By integrating the production with other sites, we handle the seasonality that is hard when you produce in house.
Svane is an innovative brand and new products are developed in collaboration between LTP's technicians and Svane's designers and product team.
