Sustainable Packaging Solutions – FSC & 100% recycled plastic
Environmentally friendly sourced furniture is ahot-topic globally and we can only expect to see higher demands for sustainablesolutions going forward.
As a part of LTP’s responsible sourcing strategy, packaging is one of the areas where we have taken important steps to offer our customers a sustainable solution.
LTP has been FSC certified since 2014 and we have decided to take this to the next level in terms of packing materials. During 2020, we have eliminated non-FSC cardboard suppliers. Therefore, now 100% of LTP’s cardboard supplier are FSC certified, which ensures that we, when requested, can secure chain of custody CoC.
We can now also offer 100% and 75% recycled plastic bags for packing of finished goods. This is a solution, which is already implemented for several customers. These customers see the value-added effect for the environment, and it is supporting their internal CSR strategy towards a more sustainable footprint.
Combining recycled plastic and FSC certified cardboard, your furniture is one-step closer to a more environmentally friendly lifecycle. It is one quick step, as LTP is ready to support you.
