Now +200 Kvadrat fabrics in stock with short lead-time
Go backLTP and Kvadrat have added 52 new colors to the consignment stock at LTP, which is ready from the 1st of September.
The amount of fabrics in stock is now totaling 220 different colors in 16 different designs: Remix 2, Steelcut Trio 3, Hallingdal 65, Canvas 2, Harald 3, Vidar 3, Fiord, Steelcut 2, Atlas, Melange Nap, Re-wool, San, Twill Weave, Divina MD, Divina 3, Divina Melange.
Demands for shorter lead times and on-time delivery is constantly increasing in the furniture industry, which is setting new challenging standards for the supply chain. LTP is supporting all customers with a value-added solution through a consignment setup with Kvadrat. The setup is supporting the requirements from the market to deliver on time with shorter lead times.
For more than 4 years, Kvadrat have had consignment stock at LTP. This setup allows LTP to offer customers production times down to only 5 days for cut & sewn upholstery covers and 10 days on finished upholstered items. The setup is based on made-to-order and therefore do not require stock of semi-finished items.
Customers using the consignment stock have had very positive effect from the setup. Especially customers, who have added these fabrics to their standard fabrics range, have had great benefit from the shorter lead time and on-time delivery. Kvadrat and LTP has therefore decided to take this to the next level, by increasing the amount of SKU’s in stock with 25%.
