Kalf - the new stylish cycling apparel brand

With 50 retail shops and a famous online shop, Evans Cycles is one of the big players in the British bike market. Their latest creation is KALF - a high-performance, stylish cycling apparel brand at a fair price without compromising details.

The high-quality production is reflected in all of KALF´s products. The jersey offers a close fit with laser cut sleeves and is made from a good quality soft, stretchy lycra. The bib shorts sit firm, are comfortable and have a high-quality inset.

To succeed, Evans Cycles had to find the right partner for manufacturing their new bike apparel collection.

As Commercial Director Joel Natale from Evans Cycles says, “We had worked with some Chinese manufacturers, but our experience with the communication was far from good. Therefore, we asked our main fabric supplier MITI to recommend the best bike apparel manufacturer. LTP was selected, and a visit to the UK opened the opportunity to start the cooperation.

Joel continues, “We use fabrics of the best quality from European producers like MITI and Carvico from Italy, and LTP help us with the manufacturing process, and their expert knowledge and advice within fabrics is very helpful. The quality of the work, their communication, and the ability to deliver on time, even when we sometimes were a little behind schedule - this made our first season-production a very positive experience.”

Alex Ingildsen, CCO of LTP Group, says; “KALF has found a perfect balance between quality and price. I would say that they over-perform in quality. A close look at the apparel reveals a lot of nice details, a very good fit, and high fabric quality.”

For now, KALF makes jerseys, bib shorts, gloves, socks, and caps - a classic start-up set for a new brand. But KALF has big plans for the future. Joel says: “Our goal is to grow 300% next year. And also to add more cycling apparel categories.”
